Changing the narrative around menopause to remove stigma. Support that strengthens wellbeing, confidence & performance.
I’m Lou, a CPD Certified Menopause Support Coach.
I hit peri‑menopause about eight years ago, back when hardly anyone was talking about it. It was a frightening and confusing time. I genuinely thought I might be experiencing early‑onset dementia.
I kept it all to myself, feeling scared and unsure, and even when I reached out for help, I was dismissed by the doctor. I left in tears, feeling unheard and frightened. My relationships crumbled, I felt lost, alone and I didn't recognise myself.
I eventually started doing my own research. Thankfully, voices like Davina McCall’s began to break the silence, and things slowly started to make sense. I’ve dealt with my fair share of symptoms, and through it all I’ve become a real advocate for women’s health in Menopause and for making sure no one feels alone or unheard.
I’ve worked to create a workplace safe space for menopausal women and to raise awareness more widely. I soon realised there was a huge gap, and I definitely wasn’t alone.
From individual coaching designed to help you feel like yourself again, to practical training to support your organisation, I'm here to help.
I founded the Ageas UK internal Menopause Support Group to ensure no one has to navigate menopause alone. Menopause often arrives without warning, and my purpose has always been simple: to catch women before they fall.
What started as a small initiative grew into a thriving community of nearly 250 members, a compassionate space to learn, breathe and feel understood.
Being voted a top 'Superstar' alongside my colleague, Samantha Fish, in Ageas's annual awards was incredible recognition, and I was proud to donate my prize money to Wellbeing of Women to keep advancing women's health.
